This one is a newer lamp made in China. It is a wick type. I have some lamplight Lamp oil. It is used in traditional hurricane lamps and home lamps all over the south. Will it work as well as kerosene? I think it is paraffin oil but it is less than 100%

It may or may not work fine, as the main thing to keep in mind is the wick. You may need to purchase a different one to use with lamplight oil, as it doesn’t burn as hot, and so may not take to the wick meant for kerosene very well. Other than that you should be fine.
